Operating a high-volume Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or cloud kitchen in urban Indian metros is a game of minutes. During peak lunch and dinner rushes, telephone lines are constantly busy, and high staff turnover leads to frequent order-taking errors. Customer frustration rises, and potential revenue is lost.
To resolve this friction, we developed a low-latency, multilingual voice-agent system. The system can handle thousands of concurrent calls, conversing fluently in regional variations of 'Hinglish', 'Tamlish', or local colloquialisms. By fine-tuning speech-to-text models on custom restaurant menus and common Indian phrasing, we reduced voice latency to sub-second levels.
The system doesn't just listen—it interprets. When a customer says 'ek half plate butter chicken, extra spicy, aur roti par butter mat lagana', the voice agent parses the modifiers, maps them to the appropriate POS modifiers, and structures a clean JSON payload directly into systems like Petpooja or Petoo.
Furthermore, we integrated this front-end order volume with the back-end supply chain. Local mandi procurement is historically highly volatile. Price fluctuations and supply variations of raw materials directly impact margins. We built deep learning forecasting models that predict daily raw vegetable, dairy, and meat requirements.
These models analyze municipal weather reports, regional festival schedules, and historical localized sales spikes. By automating the raw inventory ledger, cloud kitchens can auto-generate daily mandi order lists, minimizing wastage and locking in fresh ingredients at the best rates.
